INTELLECTUALLY-STIMULATING QUOTE FOR THE DAY

Owie! I started on the road to being a school administrator, but ended up ditching that when I had a lousy practicum supervisor who called me all kinds of four-letter names and made attacks on my character. I hadn't been diagnosed as OCD yet, and I'm glad of that... because I decided to go back to teaching special ed after only a few months of admin practicum. Had I been on my meds back then I might have decided to stick with it. And NOW... the Education Service District for which I work has been attacked by a local watchdog group, the ESD has been examined by the state, and the administrators have been fired and the board members recalled... lots and lots of money being skimmed, numbers of students being improperly reported, etc. Icky stuff!

Glad I didn't end up being a part of that. Although the difference in salary was nice!

Great story, Snave. Having OCD does have its benefits every now and then. : )
