BLOW, BLOW, WINDS OF CHANGE!!
I remember what happened after Clinton won in 1992... The GOP was so shocked and angry that they got highly moblized, and we wound up with the Republican Congress of 1994 and the Contract On America, not to mention nearly eight full years of Clinton-hunting. The stuff with Clinton got worse as they got angrier, culminating in their attempt to impeach him. On the other hand, if the GOP were to try something like that again, I believe there would be a strong backlash nationwide... and that we would wind up with a Democratic Senate of 2006!
In the event of a Kerry win, I think the GOP will need to watch their collective step for a little while in order to avoid the kind of bad PR they stuck the Demos with in 2000, i.e. the "sore loser/whiner" tag. We know how they have tended to be more vocal than the Democrats during the last 10-15 years, so if they have a number of highly visible blow-ups they could wind up looking pretty silly... especially if they lose and we find out they have attempted to alter election results.
Clinton never got arrested immediately after Bush took the Oaf of Office, like many Republicans hoped for and predicted. I wouldn't predict the same would happen to Bush at Kerry's inauguration, but I think it could happen to Bush and Cheney during the next four years; if they aren't hiding/squatting in the White House anymore, I think they will be much more opened up for all sorts of investigations.
I feel cautiously optimistic about Kerry-Edwards' chances to beat the Boy King and his Puppeteers tomorrow night. A win for the Democrats would be a signal that the country has awakened enough from its post-9-11 torpor to realize the current administration is taking advantage of 9-11 and the nation's fears for its own gains... and that a change has been necessary for a while.
Let's hear it for democracy, and hope it is still alive and well in our great nation!

I could definitely picture Bush and Cheney getting perp walked. These guy's make the Nixon administration look like the Carter administration, and thats saying something. I can't lambaste these two morons enough. Other than the fact that the GOP has geared its election campaign toward suppressing votes, perp walk the corrupt officials as well.
Fear has been a motivator, Irrational fear and fear of the irrational. As the east enders in London said during the WW2 blitz "we can take it", America can take it, and America will win against the terrorists. John Kerry will lead a focused and rational fight.
Not to get ahead of ourselves but I think it's totally possible Dumbya and Dickless could end up in big trouble. There are going to be lots of autobiographies published in the next four years and I guarantee you there are lots of folks out there with an ax to grind.
We are going to win tomorrow. I'm feeling really good!
I'm feeling cautiously optimistic, as well. Everything I'm seeing - from people standing in long lines to vote early, to the 50% incumbant rule, to the Packer vs Washington game, to everything else, is giving me a good feeling.
