So Phil, you are in effect saying that the rules need to be changed again so Bush can pack the court with his own nominees?

The thing I find interesting about Rove is his motivation. He doesn't seem especially religious...I guess he just worhships power.

Phil,

You aren't getting under my skin with the FDR stuff. I don't worship the man, at least not in the way so many modern Republicans have deified Ronald Reagan. We have had presidents far greater than both of those guys.

I do find it both dismaying and amusing how many right wingers have been trying to misconstrue things FDR said way back when, and how many want to erase the man's memory. Why is this?

Honest discourse about what? Whether or not Karl Rove is the mastermind behind the current administration? Whether or not he designs political "dirty tricks" that help throw elections to the right-wingers? Or about how he got the nickname "Turd Blossom"? 8-)> I guess I thought we weren't talking about FDR, but go ahead, if you must.

Phil- I've gathered from our conversations you think there is too much red/blue division in the country. Are there any politicians or political groups you actually support or are you basically just too pure to get your hands dirty?

God it's not as though left wing bloggers have pins ups of FDR?
