CHRISTMAS GREETINGS!!!

YES!!! I thought I smelled something familiar...

It's THAT TIME ONCE AGAIN!!!

Time once again for...

THE "WAR ON CHRISTMAS"!!!

It's time once again for people like this...
And especially ones like this...
...from outfits like this...
... to be spewing out bullshit like this...
... and this:
It's just about enough to make us all say "Bah, humbug!"...

... or to flat-out bawl like little children! Those nasty, awful "liberals"!

Watch out, people. He's desperate!!!

He'll lie about us, saying we want to do things like this...

Well, it's time to armor up, soldiers!

Time to become heroes in the effort!

Time to serve, and to serve proudly...
... because THIS WAR IS REAL!

Seriously though, folks, isn't it enough to raise a serious question like this:

I hope all those yo-yos can have a Merry Christmas, but theirs will probably look like this:

Anyway, I hope all of you have a Happy Hanukkah...

... and a Merry Christmas, too!!
Take heart! There are now less than 400 days to go in the countdown to 1/20/09, and that is certainly something to be thankful for during this Christmas season!

Wait a minute. Didn't O'Liely say the war is over? Now it's not? All this evil leftwing potsmoking propaganda haze has me so confused!

I wonder just what else we will endure before we are released from this nightmare.

Just maybe this time next year, we are able to celebrate with glee, because we will have about 22 days before America can become America again.

I do not know if you ever saw my invite to the new site I started called Let's Talk God. Do not let the title fool you, as there is talk about a lot of things pertaining to Religion in so many ways.

LT, you have too many blogs and I don't have enough time! JUST KIDDING. I have been to both your other blogs a couple of times, I need to get back to them both! All your blogs are very excellent!

Randal, I would also like to know what people are smoking nowadays, particularly those in the right wing spin factories.

ME, I like the idea of giving the president a bag of pretzels as a Christmas present, but if you do that you should be careful. Those assholes have no sense of humor, and you will probably end up on a no-fly list, or in a camp somewhere if Michelle Malkin ever gets those started up. Hey, maybe most of us who comment on each others' blogs will be placed in a special camp and we can do the "faces to go with names" thing! Heh... see you there! Just think, a camp for left wing bloggers. There would be NO COMPUTERS there, of course.

Candace, thanks for the suggestion about BAD NATIVITIES. Whew... the stench was fairly rising from my computer screen. Any of the rest of you who have not been to see the Cavalcades of Bad Nativities, go to Candace's blog "Chapterhouse" and check out the links. OUTSTANDING stuff!

Thanks Sheryl, hope things are going o.k. for you and yours and that you will have time to relax and recreate a bit during the holiday season!

We secular progressives (or as Billo says "SB's") still have a lot of work to do. Yesterday alone, a clerk wished me a Merry Christmas....how dare he. NOT.

Awesome post, Snave!!

The funny thing is that up until the 19th century, Xmas was shunned by most Protestants in America!

That's an amazing group of pics. The war on christmas sounds as insane as those who believe in it. What a crock.

It amazes me that it is the Puritanical types who are going on about this alleged war on Christmas, given it they actually banned the holiday when they were in charge of Parliament. Not to mention so many of their ilk want to take all the fun out of the holiday (no Christmas tree, no Santa, no holly and mistletoe...). And the very fact that they object to saying "Happy holidays" instead of Christmas shows how ignorant and intolerant we really are. For one thing, the phrase "Happy holidays" is not a recent invention, it's been around for some time. For another thing, there are those of us who aren't Christian but who do celebrate the Yuletide or other holidays this time of year. Saying "Merry Christmas" to someone who might be Jewish or belong to yet another faith is just plain stupid to me.

Lizzy,
I know what you mean. I wish people Merry Christmas all the time... heh... I guess the way I look at it, Christmas is just the name of a day which represents a time to relax and get together with family, and Christians say it is the birthday of Jesus... so... We definitely live in a Christian-dominated society, and whether or not I believe Jesus existed or was the son of a god, I'll join in with the celebration, but for different reasons than the Christians do. But how dare I say that!!! 8-)>

Tom,
I crushed 14 creches with sledge hammers yesterday... and I can't begin to tell you how good I feel today!!

PoP,
Yes it IS insane, eh... I guess it just takes a bunch of insane people to come up with something as full of shit as a "War on Christmas", particularly when those insane people are mostly running Asylum America.

Mercurie and TA,
Here are a couple of quotes for the season, particularly in light of the War on Christmas:

Puritanism: The haunting fear that someone, somewhere, may be happy.
- H.L. Mencken

Faith: Belief without evidence in what is told by one who speaks without knowledge, of things without parallel.
- Ambrose Bierce

Yep, because nothing says Peace and Good Will Toward Men like forcing them to celebrate your holiday at the exclusion of any others.
