TIME FOR A NEW FACE + GOOD BLOG TO CHECK OUT!
I can't handle being Henry Spencer from "Eraserhead" any longer.
I have decided to change my "avatar" or whatever the damned thing is called. At least for a while now, my "blog persona" will be represented by this wonderful picture of a truly insane-looking pileated woodpecker.

Thanks, J.! I can remember when you changed yours from the Surfer, and I had a hard time dealing with the fact that you had changed something on all of us. But that's o.k., we all adjusted.
I think the woodpecker is goofier and more positive, anyway. Your picture isn't goofy, but it does exude kindness and consideration.

Yes, sir, I like it, too...but I will miss eraserhead. I've thought about changing mine as well, but I worry that someone would snatch up my old one for themselves. Can't have that.

I think I may change mine as well. I like the woodpecker, but as is my nature, I'll have to go with something a bit more controversial.
I dunno, MC! Farting fire is fairly controversial, I would think!
You're right, pileated woodpeckers are not really what one would call controversial, but...

I chose an image from the Berlin book burning in May of 1933 in protest of the current administration. Also, I changed the name of my blog to Chaotic Fred's Dark Musings. I found it fitting since even my more upbeat posts are tinged with an aura of despair, and my darker posts are, well, very dark.
