Which ones are your favorites?

My favorite is this one by George Carlin:

"Have you ever wondered why Republicans are so interested in encouraging people to volunteer in their communities?  It's because volunteers work for no pay.  Republicans have been trying to get people to work for no pay for a long time."

And there are plenty of other gems in here!

There are certainly a lot of good ones. I thought this was one especially interesting..."When a nation’s young men are conservative, its funeral bell is already rung.”

It reminds me of the folks who were in their twenties during the 80's. Even I went through a wannabe Yuppie phase where I wore a tie to work every day and developed a taste for martinis.

Thank God I regained my senses!

I didn't realize you were into that kind of phase, or I don't recall that you were. But I'm glad you surfaced for air and recovered! Heh! 8-)

Those are some great quotes. If I had to pick a favorite it would be:

“Herbert Hoover once ran on the slogan, 'Two cars in every garage.' Apparently, the Republican candidate this year is running on the slogan, 'Two families in every garage.'”
~Harry Truman
