ANOTHER GREAT WIN FOR SEATTLE

The Seattle Seahawks just keep rollin'! Their 20-10 win over Washington yesterday puts them in the NFC championshaip game next weekend, when they get to host the winner of today's Chicago-Carolina game!

I think the best Super Bowl would be Seattle against Indianapolis, but the Colts would have to get past one of my least favorite teams, Pittsburgh, today... and then get past the Denver Broncos next weekend.

Hahahaha!!! Take that, Colts. I think Dungy will be giving the Twelfth Man award to the officiating staff that tried, but failed, to steal the game from my beloved Steelers. That play at 5:43 in the 4th was an interception by Polamanu, not an incomplete pass. That may be the single worst postseason call in NFL history, but at least it didn't matter in the end.

Watching Indy lose the way they did was excruciating. The mere thought of Bill Cowher makes my blood boil. Hopefully I won't have to see his ugly face on the TV in the Super Bowl. Go Broncos.

I don't know what it is about Cowher that I can't stand. If he wasnt't their coach, I would at least be ambivalent about the Steelers and might actually cheer for them. I like their running backs, and the young Roethlisberger is on his way to becoming a great NFL QB. And their defense is awesome! It's kind of like I'll see a beautiful woman and look her admiringly, but then she puts a cigarette in her mouth. The interest/admiration tends to end right there. The Steelers are similar but much more so, in that I'll be watching them and admiring how good they are... and then the camera pans to Bill Cowher and the Steelers become Satan.

I was also hoping those one-dimensional Bears would have beaten Carolina, but I guess Carolina's offense was good enough to beat a great defense like Chicago's.
