About Me
- Name: Snave
- Location: La Grande, Oregon, United States
I am a native eastern Oregonian, and have lived here 50 of my 62 years. I left at 20, but was back by age 32 to be near my parents to help them in times of need. I don't fit in politically here because I view things from a decidedly left wing perspective... but that's o.k. because I love the people, I love the area and for the most part I like living here. I enjoy family time, listening to music, reading books, traveling, bird watching, hiking, backpacking, watching movies, keeping up on politics, watching sports, sitting at the computer so much I get sores on my ass, and playing music... if you need a band for your party or celebration, let me know; I play keyboards and sing for a rock and roll band, and we do mostly "classic rock". (I also like to play guitar and bass and other instruments, but those are for my private enjoyment only!) I am mainly an agnostic/skeptic, but would consider myself spiritual. I work in schools and in clinical settings as a speech/language therapist. It is enjoyable work and it pays some of the bills. I have a rather unpredictable sense of humor, which can get me in trouble at times, but hey, is life worth living without laughter? I think not!

hearing you on the whole presidential oligarchy, I mean heck people your not choosing between Coke and Pepsi. In a funny way it kind of reminds of how
inbreed peoples links are in public office, almost like the whole old money thing and the east coast, flee to the Hamptons thing.
I guess its also a name brand thing
"CLINTON" cool enough Bubba gets back in by default but come on people its a big country get original!!!
Just an unrelated comment on your banner subheading Deuteronomy 23:1.
Had a friend who lost one during a Rugby match, told him to look on bright side at least he now has a 50% less chance of testical cancer.
Way to go uni-baller.
I don't think people would call Hillary "power hungry" if she were a guy.
I don't consider Hillary Clinton to be power-hungry just because of her gender. I just don't like her very much, not yet anyway, because I still have a hard time figuring out where she is on issues that are important to me. As hard as she campaigns and as little substance as I can tease out of her actions and statements, it just makes me kind of suspicious of her motives, and that causes me to tend to view her as a power-hungry type. I probably just need to do more research on her.
I may eventually come to like Hillary Clinton as a candidate once I find out more about what she actually wants for America. A big step up for her in my book would result from her denouncing the Bush power grab and vowing to roll it back. I hope we hear lots more from all of them on this issue.
Damien: Uni-baller? OW!!!!
I just don't like Hilary. I don't like the contempt for justice she showed while First Lady, and I don't like her husband. I would call her power-mad if she were male, but I would say that she's not nearly as much so as the current Asshole in Chief, and by that, of course, I mean Dick "Artificial Heart" Cheney.
"decent fellow with right-wing opinions"
Um... oxymoron
Obama call ed right the other day.
Hillary is Bush Cheney light and not just on foreign affairs.
Hillary is someone who will do anything to get elected, witness her supporting the Iraq war simply because she wanted to appear hawkish. She sucks.
