FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO WERE WONDERING....
Stop by and check out "Major Conflict"! It's great!
I have also considered doing something like what J. has done. I've even considered doing a blog that doesn't involve politics at all, but I'm not sure I could easily pull that off. Anyway, change can be a good thing for all of us once in a while, so...
While I don't have the guts to totally change my weblog yet, I have changed its name. But only for today!
Cheers!

I'm copying you, Snave -- but just for today. : )
Thanks, Snave! I appreciate the mention.
I approve of your new blogname. More outward-looking, less navel-gazing in its inference. You should keep it.
As for politics, one can't avoid it. A blog without politics would be like a balloon without air.
Hi Snave,
Sorry I haven't visited much. Things have been quite chaotic here lately.
Hugs,
Sheryl
Thanks, everyone!
I hereby propose that the 23rd-24th of each month be "change your blog name for a day" day.
J., I like your new picture. However, I will be mourning the departure of the bloodied Silver Surfer dude for a long time to come. 8-)>
Thanks, Hoots! Looking outward from the general context of one's navel may be a good thing. I'm not sure about the name "Various Mysteries", though... it might connote that I'm going metaphysical or something. Heh! Metaphysical politics? Could be interesting.
Sheryl, things have been hectic around here too, and my computer is just about to die. I believe the long-awaited wiping of the hard drive will commence during this next week. I'll continue to blog, but it will have to be from other people's computers.
If you do start a new one, though, you don't have to delete the old one. If you do, like J did, those of us can't go back and check out the older postings.
Just a thought.
A blog that doesn't involve politics? Can there be such a thing? What would it be about one wonders...
Sounds like a good idea. Perhaps I should change my name to something regarding balance. Look at a color graph of the Mandelbrot equation. The greatest beauty is at the edges of things, where order and disorder clash. But this is not what I worship. Like so many other men, I worship Rebecca Romijn, Jessica Alba, Denise Richards, and Alyson Hannigan, just to name a few. lol
